Fall Grants Awarded!

The Gladstone Education Foundation awarded $20,000 in grants during the fall grant cycle.  We were pleased to have so many applicants and learning more about the projects during the interviews was nothing short of inspiring.

While we were not able to fund all of the requests received, we sincerely appreciate the time and effort that went into all of the applications.  If your grant did not get funded during this cycle the Foundation encourages you to consider applying for funds again during the next cycle.

Below is a list of fall grants that were funded:

Seth Arnold - Support for new band instruments

Amy Otto - Support for 7th grade students to experience a virtual tour in Eqypt

Audrey Delgado - Art supplies for WLK students

Brian Johnson - Support for materials to prepare students for the world of Biotechnology

Dusty Long - Support for starting up an ESports team at GHS

Mary Parnell - Support for Salmon Field Study

Rachael Gannon - Support for 'Story Workshop' for Kinders

Christina Lincoln - Support for desks and stools for student learning

The spring grant cycle will open February 1 and close February 28 where up to $15,000 will be awarded.

There is no restriction on the number of grant applications or the dollar amount that can be requested.  However, please keep in mind the Foundation budgeted amount to award and their funding philosophy encourages equity in giving among the District’s buildings and the community.

Thank You Gladstone Education Foundation Supporters

Annual Golf Tournament

The Foundation was excited to once again host our annual Golf Tournament at Stone Creek Golf Course.  We had 30 teams participate and a great time was had by all.  The Foundation raised nearly $17,000 and it was all due to our sponsors, participants, and board members.  A big THANK YOU to all for another successful fundraiser.

Watch for an invite to the 2022 Golf Tournament to be held in July .
